February 8, 2015 - Code 10-56 Live in Studio

2015 02 08 LE Code 10 56

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Present were, Just Joe, EVD, and, Tim. The band Code 10-56 was there for about the first half of the program. They were formerly known as Nuckin' Futs, but had to change that because it was already taken, which is a shame, because I liked that name. Code 10-56 stands for the the New York City police department's code for drunkenness and assisted suicide. Funny, I wonder what those two things have in common so much that they would have the same code? They played a lot of their songs, about seven, live from The WVBR Performance Room. It sounded great. They are a Crust Punk band, you can find them on facebook. They were interviewed and one of their studio tracks was played. R.J., the vocalist from the band Thirteen South, stopped by and stayed for the second half of the program. He told us what his band has been up to. There were segments of Movie Time, and a TV Show was discussed also. And EVD told us more about his video game he's been playing, in it he is a female character who is now in a lesbian relationship. Tim talked about his having attended House Guitars on Saturday, where he got to meet with Joey Belladonna, of the band Anthrax, who now has a cover band. The last hour was The Old School Hour...

December 7, 2014 - EVD's Birthday and Dimebag Darrell Tribute

Present were EVD, and Rob from the band Thirteen South, for a couple of talk breaks. The Thursday before this LE, December 4th, at 4:16 P.M., to be exact, and his is the most precise I can be with anybody's except for my own, was EVD's Birthday, Happy Birthday, EVD! Rob gave him Birthday spankings. It was disturbing, EVD enjoyed it waaay too much, EVD, you weirdo! Well, like we all didn't know that! There was a set of music by the band Pantera, in tribute to Dimebag Darrell, it was the anniversary of his death, when a deranged person murdered him. Topics were discussed, like the growing proliferation of the killing of black men by white cops, and then nothing happening to the cops, separation of church and state issues, conspiracy theories. There was a segment of Movie Time, and Azkath talked about two TV programs, and talked some more about that new Lucha Libre wrestling program he mentioned last week, recommending it. The final hour was The Old School Hour... And, once again, A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO EVD!!!!!

June 6, 2010 - Mongrel and Thirteen South CD Debut

The entire band Thirteen South was there for the first two hours of the program. They were interviewed about what's been/will be going on with the band, promoted upcoming shows they'll be participating in, and the songs from their brand new EP were played. Just Joe played balloon baseball on all of the band members except Dustin, who, for some strange reason, didn't want to participate in this fun, so band member Matty broke the final balloon on Just Joe's face. Adam Savage, the guitarist for the band Mongrel, called in for an extended phone interview. He talked about his band, and his band's upcoming performance at the next The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show, which would be on the following Friday night. A song from his bands CD was played. They are cool. Show Listings had brand new theme music this week, the theme from "Star Wars", which Just Joe enjoyed, he made lots of laser and light saber noises. Two segments of Adventures In Listening happened, and Movie Time was interspersed throughout the night. And two people who haven't been there for a while were there this night, in the first portion of the program, Shane, and Ria...

September 5, 2010 - Steve's Debut

Just Joe was not there for the second week in a row, because he is still in rehab for his I-dosing addiction. So EVD was told he would have to go break him out of there. He said he could do that, and would have him back by next week. But, for tonight, EVD was at LE. Tim was there for a good portion of the night, and Jonathan, from the band Thirteen South was there for about two or three hours. Tim brought someone with him, Steve. It was Steve's first time at LE. There was some slapping going on. First Tim was asked if he would like to play the game, let's take turns slapping Tim 'til he cries. He said he didn't think so. It was tried, just to be sure, after he was slapped, he said he knew he didn't want to. He suggested how 'bout slapping EVD. EVD didn't seem to like that idea, but he got two slaps from Tim, and one from Azkath anyways. Tim won because his slap sounded better, and got a better result, sound, from EVD. There were two segments of Movie Time, which everyone participated in. However, EVD could only say that he had actually seen a movie, for once, but that, although they kept coming back to him to give him more time to think about it, he never could remember what it was he had seen, only that he had seen something. There was an hour long Featured Artist at the end of the program, an hour of the band Death...

October 17, 2010 - Just Another Night...

EVD was there for most of the night, and Dustin, from the band Thirteen South, was there for about half of it. Tribute to the Past Russian Roulette was played. If no bullet played, Just Joe would get a prize. If a bullet played, no prize for Just Joe. A bullet, Judas Priest's "You've Got Another Think Coming", plus two covers, which also equals a bullet, so no prize for Just Joe. There were three segments of Movie Time, Dustin participated in one of them, and EVD sort of contributed, he talked about a YouTube clip involving Jack Black. There were two segments of Adventures In Listening, and one pseudo Adventures In Listening, where Azkath had some idea of what some of the music might be like, but hadn't listened to it that closely. There was a segment of Anomaly Corner...
