December 25, 2016 - Our We Love Satan Xmas Extravaganza!

Satan.jpg

This LE fell right on Christmas Day, which only happens every five or six years, depending on The Leap Year. So, of course, it was one of our twice a year We Love Satan Shows, the other one being on Easter Sunday, of course. Present were, EVD, Nathan, and, Bi-Coastal Tim. EVD and Tim were acting very strange, I know what you're thinking, how could you tell, right? But not like their usual selves. They kept wanting to hear Christmas music, getting more and more insistent about it, and demanding to hear Stryper. And, EVD wasn't on his computer, totally absorbed in video games, like he always is, and, his beard was oddly white, almost like Santa's, and both he and Tim just kept staring. They kept insisting that Azkath play Stryper, he kept refusing, but finally gave in and played it. And then we found out that this had all been the work of Satan, who had possessed both EVD and Tim. Well, he is and does evil, and, what's more evil than Stryper, after all!? After Satan told Tim that, as a result of the possession, a part of his body, he didn't say which one, might or might not turn inside out. After Satan had departed, Nathan started acting very strange. I know, again, how could you tell, but he seemed to be trying to solder his orifi shut! By the end of the night he appeared to have soldered one ear shut, and, well, let's just say that the last thing he said was that he needed to poop, and they told him good luck with that! So, it would appear that Satan messed up Nathan, even more than he was already messed up. There were segments of Movie Time, and, of course, this being a We Love Satan Show, most of the music was for and about Satan, but there was some Christmas music, too, all throughout the night, Last Exit style Christmas, weird, disturbing, or funny music, or, Christmas metal. And, so, thus went our special We Love Satan Show it only happens every few years, the Christmas Day one.

December 18, 2016 - Fourth Post Anniversary End of the World Show!

Everyone.jpg

It was our Fourth Year Anniversary Post Apocalypse Count Up Show, as the world ended four years ago, even though nothing seemed to change very much, it was promised that it would end, so it must have. Present were, EVD, Bi-Coastal Tim, who was playing the roll of Justin, a.k.a. Twelve Inch, wow, I bet that's the first time Tim's been called that(!), Eric, and, Rick from "The Metallic Onslaught". Azkath read everyone's futures with runes, predicting that everyone was going to die in the near future. Well, if they do, people seem to have a weird way of coming back from the dead around here, so, it probably won't be the last we'll see of them. Eric celebrated a Birthday a week ago to this day, on December 11th, Happy Birthday, Eric!!!!!There were segments of Movie Time. And, as this was our Post Apocalypse Show, all the music this night was very dark and doomy...

December 11, 2016 - The Good Left Undone Live

The Good Left Undone

Present were, EVD, Nathan, Justin, Kevin, Rick from "The Metallic Onslaught", and, R.J.. It was a Tornado Tag Team Show, which meant that, for much Of The Night, sets would consist of a song pick from the people present. Everyone there got several picks, including mine. The band The Good Left Undone, which has a former member of Undead Messengers in it, stopped by. They were going to play five songs, all the songs they have so far, live in The Performance Room, but they broke their snare drum after the first song! They did manage to get two more songs out, but then decided they needed to stop. It sounded great until they had to quit, though. They are a cool band, and Nathan did a great job running the sound as usual. They don't have any of their music recorded yet, they will soon, so nothing from them could be played that way, either. They do rock. Rick and R.J. told us how "The Metallic Onslaught Big Birthday Bash Show", which they had just come from, had gone. It went very well. EVD got a creepy Back rub from R.J.. As we are two weeks from Christmas, throughout the night, sets of Christmas music were played, Christmas metal, and, comedy songs. toward the end of the night, some sets of good rock metal songs were played, bands like old Tesla, Dirty Looks, Badlands, and Dokken. There were segments of Movie Time, Nathan talked about a video game, and Azkath talked about a couple of books as well...

December 4, 2016 - Malignant Live and EVD's Birthday

EVD's Birthday

This was EVD's Birthday Show, as this very day was His Birthday. Happy Birthday, EVD! Present were, EVD (good thing!), Just Joe, Nathan, Daryll, Tim, and, Olivia from the band Undead Messengers, Ian, Olivia's brother from the band Corrosive Impact, Rick from "The Metallic Onslaught", Dave Henninger of the band Spit Nickels. Rick and Dave were there to promote an upcoming show, where Dave's band, along with several others, would be performing, and Rick would be hosting, "The Metallic Onslaught's Birthday Bash", as Rick, Josh, and, Cameron, Spit Nickels's drummer would all be celebrating Birthdays in the upcoming week as well. The band Malignant, who used to be the band Bloodsnot, now minus a member, performed several songs, all of their songs that they have so far, live in The Performance Room. As usual, props to Nathan for doing a great job running the sound. Malignant are an instrumental band right now, as Blood Snot was most of the time, although they are open to a vocalist. They rock. You can find them at www.facebook.com/malignant607. After their performance, the band was interviewed. A song from Spit Nickels's CD was played. They are a cool band, you can find them on Facebook. For EVD's Birthday, they got him a present. Just Joe was instructed to go get it, but he brought back the wrong thing, he brought Styrofoam blocks, which he got hit with by EVD. When he finally brought the right present, it was the Valhalla blend of Death Wish coffee, it's very strong, Ian gave him some creamer for it. They played a special Birthday game with EVD, "Who's Touching Me Now", EVD would close his eyes, and have to guess which one of three people was stroking his beard. He was very good at it, he only got it wrong once, when they cheated. Later, Olivia played the game as well. Olivia and Tim had a present for EVD as well. They gave him black and white Duct Tape, and told him he could duct tape them together any way he wanted to. But, actually, it turned out that EVD became the duct tapie, instead of the duct taper, Just Joe duct taped him, Tim, and, olivia all together in a big piece of black foam. Then he tried to give them away out on the porch, but I guess there were no takers. EVD said that Just Joe had done a pretty good job for an amateur duct taper, giving him a six out of ten score with ten being the highest. The Pooh Stick also made an appearance this night, people did disturbing things with it as usual. As we are drawing near to the end of the year, Azkath played sets of music throughout the night that were some of his favorite things released this past year, he didn't get to all of it, he had over two hundred items in his favorites folder. There were segments of Movie Time, TV programs were talked about as well. Azkath played the band Steve 'N Seagulls for EVD for His Birthday, because we all know how much EVD LOVES his country music!

November 27, 2016 - Symmetrical Defiance Live

Symmetrical DefiancePresent were, EVD, Just Joe, Nathan, and, R.J.. The band Symmetrical Defiance was there in the first portion of the program. They played a couple of sets of their songs live in our Performance Room. It sounded great, again, thanks to Nathan for running the sound. Then the band was interviewed. They are a cool band, they were here on R.J.'s recommendation. The previous Wednesday, November 23rd, had marked the 13th Anniversary of Just Joe's first appearance on LE, so we celebrated that this night. Azkath put together a highlight reel of The Best Of Just Joe's moments over the years, it was two hours long, everyone present tonight got to watch it, and, given all that's happened to him over the last 13 years, only a small portion of which was represented here, no one could believe he was still alive. We're still working on that, though. You will be able to see this video for yourself soon on our youtube channel. Just Joe has always been afraid of jellybeans. What a strange thing to be afraid of, like that guy from the band Rabid who's afraid of stickers, people can be so strange, I love jellybeans! They fed him jellybeans. at first he was whining, but, at the end of the night, he wasn't sure how he felt about them. There were segments of Movie Time, a TV program was recommended as well... At the end was also a Tribute to 2003.

November 20, 2016 - Christian Matthew Live

Christian MatthewPresent were, EVD, Nathan, and, Justin. A band performed eight songs live in The Performance Room. It sounded great, Nathan did a good job running the sound. What band, you may ask? Well... That question is a little harder to answer than would normally be the case... It was a two piece band. One guy in it, Claus Butts / Nick Beacon's band is called Live Bombs, which is who he booked the show as, but Live Bombs isn't who was performing. The other half of this band, is just going by his name, Christian Matthew, because, he hasn't thought of anything better he wants to call it yet. So, the band that performed, for now, is Christian Matthew. Wow, I never would have thought telling you what a band's name was could be such a complicated question. Hope you got it, I'm sure you did, you are all smart people. Claus Butts / Nick Beacon brought along an EP of Live Bomb's music, and some songs from it were played, it's a punk band, so they were all short songs. Both people were interviewed, and talked about both bands. they are both cool bands, you can find Live Bombs on Facebook, with links to it's other sites. Christian Matthew is on Soundcloud and Bandcamp, they are both awesome bands. There were segments of Movie Time, TV programs, and Internet shows were talked about as well...

November 13, 2016 - Corrosive Impact and Prom Night Porn Star Live

Corrosive ImpactPresent were, EVD, Justin, Nathan, and Anna. Two bands performed live in The Performance Room, Corrosive Impact, who came recommended by R.J., and Azriel's new band, Prom Night Porn Star. Corrosive Impact went first, they played several songs. They rocked, you can find them on Facebook, with links to all the other sites where you can find them. After their performance, they were interviewed. Then Prom Night Porn Star played thirteen songs over several sets. They are cool. Corrosive Impact is a metal band, Prom Night Porn Star is a punk band. They don't have a facebook page yet, but should have one soon. After their performance, they were also interviewed. So, between the two bands, they were there for most of the program, Prom Night Porn Star left around 5:00. Between the bands's sets, sets of music alternated between new music, and sets of songs about war and soldiers, in honor of Veterans Day, which had been the Friday before this LE. There were segments of Movie Time, TV programs, Internet programs, and, books were talked about as well. We have decided that we are going to make a Muppet Puppet of Nathan, because he looks like a Muppet, with his flippy hair, and huge nose. Props to Anna for making things work, fixing technical problems, and even getting Prom Night Porn Star new guitar strings, she had to go out and get some when the band's broke. The program ended with two covers of Leonard Cohen songs, as a tribute to him, he died this week...

November 6, 2016 - Russian Roulette Show

Last Exit

As this was the weekend that we set the clocks back one hour to go back on Standard Time, this LE was seven hours long. Present were, EVD, Just Joe, Nathan, Justin A.K.A. Twelve Inch, who was down to Seven Inch, but got a chance to gain those inches back tonight, more on that in a bit, Kevin, and Anna. The whole night was a Russian Roulette Show. Azkath had a bunch of tubes of twenty year old M&M's, every time a bullet played, everyone had to eat one of them. They made Justin sick, Nathan act all weird, hallucinating about cockroaches being everywhere, and seeing people at the door, for example, and, Just Joe, well he loved them, became addicted to them, wanting more and more of them. This may have been the first time that he kept trying to say there had been bullets when there were none, usually he tries to get out of bullets, tonight he was demanding them. By the end of the night, Justin had puked, and gone home, not sure if he gained back all those inches or not, Nathan was insane, and Just Joe, well, Just Joe wasn't looking too good, after having downed so many two decade old M&M's. I think a stomach pumping might be in order. Quick.

West BerlinPresent were, EVD, Just Joe, Nathan, Eric, Mr. Linda, Anna, and, R.J.. The band West Berlin performed some of their songs live in The Performance Room. It sounded great. Nathan did a good job running the sound as always. The band was interviewed, and a track from their EP was played. They rock. You can find them at www.westberlin.bandcamp.com One of their members used to be in the band Chains Of Honor, who had also been on LE. Azkath played three what he called Guess-A-Sets, where all of the songs in the set had something in common, and everyone would guess what that was. Eric got one, and I got one. Halloween music was sprinkled throughout the program, as we were a week and a day from Halloween, both serious metal songs, and comical ones. There were segments of Movie Time, and TV programs were talked about as well...
